 A man with an IQ of 260 seems to have a different life than Marilyn vos Savant, even though she has a very simple life.  William James Sidis was born in 1898 in New York to a family whose parents were gifted.  As a child, at just 18 months old, William was able to read The New York Times.  At the age of eight, he learned Latin, Greek, French, Russian, German, Hebrew, Turkish, and American.  Not only did he learn the language, he also created a language of his own called "Vendergood".  He was also one of the youngest people to be admitted to Harvard University in 1909, when he was just 11 years old.

 

 

 

In 1910, William began teaching mathematics on his own as a professional and wrote a book called Child Prodigy.  He successfully completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at the age of 16.  William is very famous for his excellent abilities.  But those celebrities did not make him happy in life, he longed for a life of solitude and solitude.  According to him, "Such a life is perfect."
